OU star Anderson cleared to practice with Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Rodney Anderson has been cleared to practice, the team announced Wednesday.

Anderson, a former Oklahoma stand out, suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Sooners' second game last season.

Anderson, whose college career was plagued by injuries, was drafted by Cincinnati in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. The Bengals also picked Texas A&M running back Trayveon Williams in the sixth round.

Former Oklahoma star Joe Mix on is the Bengals' top running back. Veteran Giovani Bernard is Mix on' s backup.

Kaepernick says he's `still ready' to return

ColinKae per nick says he's “still ready” to return to the NFL, even though he is set to enter his third season out of the league.

In a video posted Wednesday on social media, the 31-year-old Kaepernick is shown working out in a gym. He says in the video: “5 a.m. 5 days a week. For 3 years. Still Ready.”

Kae per nick, then with the San Francisco 49ers, helped start a wave of protests about social and racial injustice in 2016 by kneeling during the national anthem at games.

The NFL in February settled a collusion grievance Kaepernick and corner back Eric Reid filed against the league. Reid, who played 13 games last season for the Panthers, signed a three-year contract with Carolina in February.

Pro Bowl to be held in Orlando

The Pro Bowl will return to Orlando, Florida, for the fourth straight year and be held one week before the Super Bowl.

The NFL's all - star game will be an afternoon match on Sunday, Jan. 26. A week later, the league's championsh­ip game will be played a few hours south in the Miami area.
