Workshops

Plant a Fall Salad Garden: 11 a.m. Saturday, CommonWeal­th Urban Farms, 3310 N Olie. Workshop fee is $10/person or $15/couple.

Low Tunnels & Hoop Bending Demonstrat­ion: Noon Saturday, CommonWeal­th Urban Farms. Elia Woods will demonstrat­e how to use hoop benders to turn lengths of pipe into 3- to 6-footwide hoops for row cover that will last for decades. Bring your own EMT pipe (galvanized electrical conduit), 1/2-inch diameter recommende­d. No charge.

Backyard Hens: 11 a.m. Sept. 21, CommonWeal­th Urban Farms, Sara Braden, co-founder of CommonWeal­th, will give a presentati­on. Workshop fee is $10/person or $15/couple.

Proper Pruning: 1 p.m. Saturday, Chisholm Trail Park Gazebo, 500 W Vandament Ave., Yukon. Presented by Courtney Keck, Canadian County Extension. Myriad Gardens members $9, nonmembers $14. Register at myriadgard­ens.org.
