Another week of nondistric­t play brings more great matchups across the state.

Week 2 of the high school football season has cross town rivals cl ashing, East powers colliding and more.

Here is a look at The Oklahoma n' s Top 10 games for Week 2:

Class 6A-II No. 3 Del City (1-0) at Class 5A No. 1 Carl Albert (1-0): A great rivalry continues, with Del City looking to knock off Carl Albert. Last season, this game went to overtime and was the closest victory all season for Carl Albert. Del City has a chance to knock off the Titans and stop their winning streak at 37. And it will have a chance to do so on the night Carl Albert honors longtime coach Gary Rose.

Class 6A-1 No. 2 Owasso (2-0) at No.

1 Broken Arrow (2-0): Both teams have impressive wins to open the season. Owasso has toppled two of Arkansas' top teams, while Broken Arrow has a victory in Texas and a shutout over Tulsa Union last week.

Class 6A-I No. 4 Jenks (1-1) at No.

3 Tulsa Union (0-2): Both teams are looking to make a statement in this annual rivalry. Jenks got blown out at home against Bixby last week. Tulsa Union is looking for its first win.

Class 5A No. 2 Tulsa Kelley (0-1) at No. 3 McGuinness (0-1): The Battle of the Bishops continues in Oklahoma City. Tulsa Kelley has one of the state's top offenses that will be tasked with slowing down McGuinness running back Dominic Richardson.

Class 3A No. 3 Plainview (1-0) at Class 4A No. 1 Tuttle (2-0): Both teams have had big victories to begin the season. Plainview wide receiver Blake Nowell will look to outduel Tuttle running back Triston Truelove.

Class 4A No. 4 Clinton (1-0) at Class 3A No. 1 Heritage Hall (1-0): Clinton has found its footing under second-year coach John Higbee, but it faces a challenge trying to tame Heritage Hall, which is coming off a big win against Millwood.

Class 2A No. 6 Vian (1-0) at Class 3A No. 2 Lincoln Christian (2-0): Lincoln Christian quarterbac­k Chase Ricke faces his toughest challenge yet going against Vian's strong defense, with stars Solomon and Elijah Wright leading the way.

Class A No. 4 Minco (2-0) at Class A No. 8 Crossings Christian (1-1): Minco is off to a quick start this season but faces a tough test traveling to Crossings Christian, which will rely on Hunter Johnson to lead the way.

Class 6A-I No. 6 Edmond Santa Fe (1-0) at No. 10 Mustang (1-0): Both teams are coming off big victories against rivals in Week 1. Edmond Santa Fe will look to slow down Mustang, which is soaring early under first-year coach Lee Blankenshi­p.

Class 6A-II No. 6 Muskogee (1-0) at No. 10 Midwest City (0-2): The Bombers are looking to get into the win column while Muskogee is hoping to prove it can be one of the Class 6A-II's top teams.
