Gov. Kevin St it tr a is ed $208,000 in the most recent quarter, tapping oil and gas interests, physicians, homebuilders and others for donations.

Stitt's campaign account had about $600,000 at the end of September.

Stitt, who made $4.9 million in personal loans to his campaign in his first run for

public office, has not repaid himself any of the money from campaign donations, as allowed under law.

The most recent fundraising quarter ran from July 1 through Sept. 30. Stitt's take in the quarter was about half what he raised in the second quarter but twice what he raised in the first.

One of Stitt's fundraisers was held at the Choctaw casino in Durant in August, just a few weeks after he called for renegotiating gaming compacts and set off a public struggle with the tribes over the share of revenue going to the state.

The gathering at the casino was tied to a fishing tournament hosted by the governor at Lake Texoma.

Stitt received $4,000 from the political action committee for Exxon-Mobil; $5,000 from the Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance; $2,000 from the One Gas Inc. political action committee; and thousands more from oil and gas company executives.

More than three dozen pharmacists from across the state donated to the campaign, as did numerous builders, developers and Realtors.

Of the total money raised, $172,713 was from individual donations; $25,570 was from special interest political action committees; and $9,950 was in food and beverages for events.
