The Oklahoman

3 - 2 - 1 KICK OFF

No. 10 Oklahoma takes on No. 13 Baylor on Saturday night in Waco, Texas. Here's what to watch for:

Three players to watch

Rhamondre Stevenson:

With Trey Sermon out for the season, the Sooners will need someone to share the load with running back Kennedy Brooks. Last week, Brooks was Oklahoma's leading rusher. Stevenson, who has 369 yards on 40 carries this season, and could now see a bigger role in the run game.

CeeDee Lamb:

He has increasingly looked like Oklahoma's best player. He turns quick passes into big gains on a weekly basis, and he's fun to watch. Last year, Lamb had an 86-yard touchdown reception against the Bears. Look for him to have a big game again. Jalen Hurts: The senior quarterback and OU's offense have struggled at times in the Sooners' last two games. Against Iowa State, OU only scored once in the second half. Hurts and the offense will try to execute better from start to finish against Baylor.

Two big questions

Will the Sooners get a turnover?

Last Saturday, senior Parnell Motley intercepted a 2-point conversion try by Iowa State to seal the Sooners' win. It doesn't go down in the record books as a takeaway, but it might open the turnover floodgates. Will Oklahoma get its first takeaway since September?

Which headgear will Lee Corso put on?

With ESPN's College GameDay in Waco on Saturday morning, Lee Corso and Co. will be picking the winner of the game during the last segment of the show. In 2015, the last time the GameDay crew was in Waco for an OU-Baylor game, Corso picked the Bears, but the Sooners won 44-34.

One bold prediction

Parnell Motley intercepts Charlie Brewer.

It's one of the big questions — will the Sooners get a coveted takeaway — it happens this week. After his big play against the Cyclones and his almost-interceptions earlier in that game, Motley picks off Baylor's Brewer to get Oklahoma's first interception since beating Texas Tech.
