Workshops
"Shady 'Characters' for the
Garden": 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Classroom C, Cleveland County Extension Building, Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 601 E Robinson, Norman. Master Gardener Rahmona Thompson, emerita biology professor at East Central University in Ada, will talk about best practices for gardening in shade. Dried Flower Wreaths: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, CommonWealth Urban Farms, 3310 N Olie. Edith Siemens will teach how to create beautiful wreaths from dried flowers and greens. Fee: $15 for materials for one wreath; additional materials $10 per wreath.
Home Gardening 101: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 22, 29 and March 7, presented by Oklahoma County Master Gardeners. Cost is $75. Registgration closes Feb. 1. For more information, call Diana at 713-1125.

Little Saplings: 10 to 11 a.m. every other Tuesday to Dec. 3, Children's Garden Porch, Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W Reno Ave. Best for ages 2 to 5. Register by the Friday before at myriadgardens.org.
