Andrews flashes Pro Bowl skills against Browns

-

Mark Andrews was selected for the Pro Bowl last week, then on Sunday the former Oklahoma tight end proved why.

Andrews caught two touchdown passes from Lamar J ackson as t he Baltimore Ravens won their 11th straight game with a 31-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The Ravens (13-2) looks nothing like the team they were three months ago as the marvelous, multi-dimensional Jackson has taken the league by storm with his arm and legs. Jackson finished with 238 yards passing and went over 100 yards for the fifth time this season.

Andrews, who leads the NFL in touchdowns by a tight end with 10, has been Jackson's top target.

Jackson connected on a 39-yard TD pass to Andrews with 1:18 left in the first half for Baltimore's first score, and then hooked up with his tight end again with nine seconds left in the half on a sensational play the electrifying QB can add to his MVP candidacy.

Jackson stayed alive in the pocket long enough to buy time and fired an off-balance pass to the back of the end zone, where Andrews made a terrific leaping catch for a 14-yard scoring reception. Andrews had six catches in the game for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

Andrews was going up against his old college quarterback, Baker Mayfield, who

finished 20 of 33 for 192 yards with two touchdown passes and a pick.

Here is how other Oklahomans in the NFL fared on Sunday:

Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals (OU) was 11 of 18 passing for 118 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 40 yards on six carries before leaving the game with an injury.
