LSU holds on to upset No. 11 Kentucky

Ayana Mitchell scored 15 points, Faustine Aifuwa added 10 points and 13 rebounds and LSU withstood Kentucky's fourth-quarter rally to beat the No. 11 Wildcats. 65-59, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Mitchell scored the game's first five points and the Lady Tigers ( 14- 4, 4- 2 Southeaste­rn Conference) led the rest of the way, leading by 18 with nine minutes left. Rhyne Howard scored 12 of her 26 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Wildcats back, closing to within four with 49 seconds remaining. But Jaelyn Richard-Harris made four free throws and Jailin Cherry three to hold off Kentucky.

The Wildcats ( 1 5- 3, 4- 2) scored 32 points in the fourth quarter, five more than their total through three quarters.

NO .3 STANFORD 61, NO. 8 OREGON STATE 58: Ki ana Williams scored 17 points and Lexie Hull added 14, to help Stanford beat Oregon State.

NO. 4 UCONN 92, TULSA 34: Megan Walker scored 24 points and No .4 U Conn routed Tulsa to extend its American Athletic Conference winning streak to 127 games.

NO. 5 LOUISVILLE 74, NORTH CAROLINA 67: Dana Evans scored 22 points to help Louisville beat North Carolina to remain unbeaten in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

NO. 6 OREGON 105, CALIFORNIA 52: Satou Sabally scored 31 points and the other four Oregon starters also scored in double figures as the Ducks rolled.

NO. 9 N.C. STATE 59, WAKE FOREST 45: Kayla Jones had 15 points and 11 rebounds to help North Carolina State beat Wake Forest.

NO. 12 TEXAS A&M 69, FLORIDA 42: N' de a Jones scored 19 points with 13 rebounds and Texas A& Mb eat Florida to end a two-game losing streak.

NO. 14 DEPAUL 80, BUTLER 65: Sonya Morris scored 22 points and Deja Church had a doubledoub­le and DePaul beat Butler.

NO .23 ARKANSAS 100, VANDERBILT 66: Alexis Tolefree scored a career-high 25 points and Amber Ramirez added 18 points for the Razorbacks.
