An arrest warrant has been issued for an Oklahoma City man wanted in connection with a shooting at Penn Square Mall earlier this month.

Authorities filed the warrant for Darrell Ni quito Fletcher ,22, whom Oklahoma City police say is suspected in the Jan. 18 shooting in which several people were injured by bullet fragments or by falling during the chaos.

Investigators said the shooting happened just after 8 p.m. after mall security reported seeing two men arguing outside the movie theater on the second floor of the mall.

According to a police report, one of the men tried to walk away from the fight, which is when the suspect followed him and physically assaulted the other man.

Mall security told police they were about to step in when the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband and fired three to four shots before running away. Three other men were alleged to have been seen with the suspect.

According to the arrest warrant for Fletcher, he and the three others— Dequann Gresham, 23, Evan Gresham, 22, and Terence Parker, 21 — are alleged to have followed the victim before the shooting occurred.

In the arrest warrant, Fletcher is accused of being the shooter.

“The victim is seen walking away from the group off camera as the group off our suspects (continues) to follow the victim,” the warrant says. “They leave the frame of the video and the shooting occurs.”

Parker told police he punched the victim in the mouth before the shooting. The victim told police he didn't know the shooting suspect.

After photos of the men tied to the case were released, Dequann Gresham, Evan Gresham and Parker came forward to talk to police, the arrest warrant says.

Over the course of two interviews, all three denied knowing the shooting victim and said they know Fletcher from a 2013 high school party and basketball tournament. They told police they happened to run into Fletcher at the mall.

However, police said in the arrest warrant that video showed Fletcher getting out of a carat the mall with the three other men. They were seen together on multiple mall cameras, the warrant says.

Later, Parker and Dequann Gresham t old police Fletcher was the fourth man with them at the mall, the warrant says.

Video shows Dequann Gresham, Evan Gresham and Parker running from the scene and they are “not the active shooter,” the arrest warrant says.

On Jan .24, arrest warrants were issued for Dequann Gresham, Evan Gresham and Parker.

Dequann Gresham and Terence Parker t urned themselves in, were each booked i nto Oklahoma County jail on an assault and battery with a deadly weapon complaint, then bailed out.

Evan Gresham has not yet been arrested, police said Tuesday.

Penn Square Mall security notified police of a Facebook profile they believed to belong to Fletcher, according to the arrest warrant. Police believe the profile matches the description of the shooting suspect.

Police said comments on Fletcher's profile page said law enforcement was coming after him.

The shooting at the mall was the second in a month.

Elizha Sanders, 24, was arrested in connection with a Dec. 18 shooting in which Gerron Cobb, 22, was struck twice after a fight.
