Lakers star hangs nearly $8M price tag on home

LLOS ANGELES — os Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis, who is set to become an unrestrict­ed free agent later this year, has put his home in the North Ranch area of Westlake Village up for sale for $7.995 million.

The con tempora ry Mediterran­ean mansions its behind gates with a guesthouse and a $1 million infinity-edge swimming pool complete with dual waterslide­s, a Baja deck and a spa. But perhaps even more impressive: an attached basketball gymnasium featuring its own viewing box.

Custom-built in 1996 and later expanded, the roughly 16,000-square-foot house features a twostory entry with a curved stair case, a wood-paneled office and a movie theat er. The kitchen is equipped with two islands. There are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms including a multiroom master suite.

The 2.33- acre property has panoramic views en compassin gt he surroundin­g mountains and golf course. A five-car garage, motor court and an extensive solar power system complete the site.

Davis ,27, was acquired by the Lakers from the New Orleans

Pelicans last year in a multiplaye­r deal that included Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart. As eventime All-Star and three-time All-NBA first- team selection, he was averaging 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 55 games for L.A. before the NBA went on hiatus in March due to concerns about the novel coronaviru­s.

All work, some play

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have cooked up a deal in West Hollywood, buying a newly built home in the area for $5.1 million.

The couple, who reside in the Beverly Hills Post Office area, intend to use the wood-paneled contempora­ry as a live-work space.

The two-story house has f our bedrooms, f our bathrooms and more than 3,400 square feet of open-concept living space. A highend kitchen outfitted with a 20- foot-long island opens to the living room. Pocketing doors open to a patio with a lap swimming pool and spa.

Legend, 41, has won 1 1 Grammy Awards, including two awards forbes tR& B album, f or “Wake Up!” and “Get Lifted.” He won an Academy Award for the song “Glory” for the 2014 film “Selma.”

Hulk smashes sale

Bodybuilde­r-actor Lou Ferrigno and his wife, Carla, have sold their longtime home in Santa Monica for $3.25 million.

Tucked behind a white pick et fence, the two- story house features lat hand plaster walls, oak wood floor sand picture windows that bring garden views inside. Some 3,400 square feet of living space has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a vaultedcei­ling living room and a dining room. A breakfast nook sits off the updated kitchen.

The house, built in 1926, sit son about 1/5 acre in Gillette' s Regent Square area with gardens, lawn and fruit trees. A detached studio- garage sits in the backyard.

Ferrigno, 68, was a two-time Mr. Universe before landing the title role on the CBS series “The Incredible Hulk.”

As an actor, his credits also include t he show “The King of Queens” a nd t he 2009 film “I Love You, Man.” He was selected by President Donald Trump two years ago to be a member of the President' s Council on Sports Fitness and Nutrition.
