Deputies with the Oklahoma County sheriff's office arrested a Harrah woman May 20 who is accused of chopping and selling parts off of stolen vehicles.

Investigators arrested Shannon Renee Stephen son ,50, after they followed up on a tip about an alleged “chop shop” in the 1700 block of Breezeway Heights.

At the residence, investigators reportedly found stolen vehicles that were stripped for parts, spools of industrial-grade electrical wire reportedly stolen from a local utility company, and methamphetamine.

The stolen vehicles had a total value of approximately $30,000, officials said.

Investigators also found a number of environmental hazards at the residence. Officials notified the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

Deputies arrested Stephenson on an active warrant for violating a suspended sentence.

In 2017, Stephenson was charged with possession of me th amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and failure to carry valid security information, online court records show. She received a one-year suspended sentence in the case.

A warrant for her arrest was issued in March 2019 after she violated the terms of her sentence.

Investigators had not filed charges against Stephenson as of Friday afternoon. Officials are also preparing charges against two men who are allegedly affiliated with the chop shop.

Deputies with the Pottawatomie County sheriff's office assisted Oklahoma County deputies in the investigation by using a drone to conduct surveillance of the property.

Stephenson is free on bond.
