COVID-19
“As we anticipated, attendance has been lighter than previous event years, but steady since we opened ,” spokesman Erik a Huffman said .“Our traffic over the weekend was substantially heavier than traffic has been during t he week thus far, so we are still encouraging those who are in a vulnerable population that would like to attend to do so on a weekday.”
Gallery organizers and guests are taking the coronavirus seriously, she said.
“We are encouraging our attendees to wear masks and providing masks for those who may not have one. Additionally, we have hand sanitizer outside each home and are encouraging attendees to utilize that prior to entry,” Huffman said. “Attendees thus far have been very courteous of our other guests and have been mindful of remaining at a social distance from other parties.
“Since our event features four different homes, is spread over more than two weeks and since we are open seven hours each day, our attendance has been at a steady pace, and we have not yet needed to limit the number of individuals in each home at one time.”
