Former OU star Stills arrested at protest in Louisville

Kenny Stills, a wide receiver for the NFL's Houston Texans, is among the 87 protesters facing felony charges after being arrested Tuesday at a protest in Louisville.

The 28-year-old former O Us tar was entered into the jail' s booking log just before midnight after having been taken into custody earlier in the afternoon, as he and dozens of other protesters marched to the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron to demand action against the police officers who shot and killed Breonna Taylor in March.

Stills was charged with intimidati­ng a participan­t in the legal process, a felony, as well as misdemeano­r disorder ly conduct and criminal trespass. He was released Wednesday morning.

“Arrested f or peacefully protesting. While Breonna Taylor's murderers are still out on the street,” Stills wrote in a Twitter post Wednesday afternoon.

HORSE RACING: Two-time Triple Crown-winning trainer Bob Baffert was suspended for 15 days by the Arkansas Racing Commission after two of his horses tested positive for a banned substance at Oaklawn Park. The commission said in a ruling announced Wednesday that the suspension will run from Aug. 1-15.

WNBA: Washington Mystics star Elena Delle Donne's request to be medically excused from the WNBA season due to Lyme disease was denied, the league's reigning MVP said on Monday. Now, if she chooses not to play this season, which starts July 25, the defending champion Mystics wouldn't have to pay her.
