Missionaries draw scenes of Christ's life in chalk
Scenes from the life of Christ will be depicted in chalk drawings created by missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Missionaries of Jesus Christ will host a Christ's Life Chalk Drive-Thru event from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 15700 N Pennsylvania Ave.
Members of the community are invited to drive through the house of worship's parking lot to see the chalk drawings. Representatives from the church will be at each station to explain the artwork and answer any questions. Representatives will be wearing masks and staying 6 feet from cars to protect the health of all guests. “We are going to have many chalk art renditions of Christ's life from birth, to miracles, to sacrifice to resurrection. You will be encouraged to admire the art from your car to keep everyone safe and healthy,” organizers said.
