OKC Metro Officials Association to hold meeting Monday
The OK C Metro Officials Association will hold a meeting for new and second- year football referees at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Pasteur Medical Building in Oklahoma City.
Anyone in the area who is interested in becoming a football official is encouraged to join.
Participants must enter through the east doors of the building and will be directed to the meeting room. Each person will be asked to wear a mask.
There will be a meeting each Monday throughout August.

JOHN MARSHALL: Bears receiver/defensive back Bryce Stephens announced his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday through a Twitter post. A three-star prospect, according to Rivals, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound wide receiver led John Marshall with 25 catches, 570 yards and seven touchdown receptions through 11 games played in his junior season. He also rushed 20 times for 234 yards and three scores. Defensively, he had 25 tackles and five interceptions. Stephens is No. 7 on The Oklahoman's 2021 Super 30 list of top football recruits in the state.
STILLWATER: Air Force football earned a commitment from one of the biggest prospects in Oklahoma. Stillwater's Lance Petermann announced his commitment to the Falcons through a twitter post on Sunday.
“This was the hardest decision of my life,” he wrote. “After careful deliberation, I have decided on my next steps for football and my education. You will find me at USAFA! I believe in this country and look forward to serving her.”
As a 6-5, 275-pound offensive lineman, Petermann helped lead Stillwater High School to consecutive undefeated regular seasons and Class 6A-II state championship appearances. He is No. 22 on The Oklahoman's 2021 Super 30 list of top high school recruits in the state. Petermann chose Air Force over 11 other schools which included Army, Navy, Eastern Michigan and New Mexico.
