Events

Prairie Seed Adventure: 6-7 p.m., Aug. 27, Myriad Botanical Gardens Classroom and Oklahoma Prairie Garden. Best for ages 7-11. Members $6, nonmembers $8. Register by Aug. 21 at www.myriadgardens.org. Seeds travel in wild ways. A look at plant and seed specimens to learn all about how seeds travel in different habitats. Then on to a seed adventure in the Prairie Garden, gathering seeds for your own collection.

Guided Walking Tour: 10-11 a.m. Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 31, Nov. 28, Dec. 26, Myriad Botanical Gardens. Free. Meet in South Lobby Visitor Center. Geared toward adults; children and leashed dogs welcome.

Urban Hike from Myriad Gardens: Sept. 25, Myriad Botanical Gardens. A new add-on option to the Guided Monthly Walking Tour. Hike for another hour led by YMCA instructors. Target downtown locations announced before each hike on Myriad Gardens social media. Bring water and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
