ART ATTACK: The Oklahoma City Zoo's annual art show, Art Gone Wild, is available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the zoo's Guest Services office, 2101 NE 50. The works of art were painted by zoo animals, including elephants, sea lions and tigers, with assistance from their caregivers, and proceeds from art sales benefit the zoo's conservation initiatives. HOMER RUN: Oklahoma Contemporary presents a six-day reading series of Emily Wilson's recent translation of Homer's epic “The Odyssey” starting at 7 p.m. Thursday. Wilson's translation is the first English translation of the poem by a woman. Readers include Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, Councilwoman Nikki Nice, actress Bebe Neuwirth (“Frasier”) and many others. The readings will broadcast live from Oklahoma Contemporary's website, Facebook and YouTube pages.
