Ideal Homes adds to name and management
I deal Homes and Neighborhoods, based in Norman, has named Zack Roach, vice president of development, to its senior management team.
“Ideal' s development department plays a particularly important role in our plans f or company growth over the next few years,” said Steve Shoemaker, president of Ideal Homes, which also added “Neighborhoods” to the company name.
“Finding, contracting, performing due diligence and developing land is a vital part of our growth plan. With his vision and strategic mindset, Zack will be a great addition to the leadership of Ideal Homes and Neighborhoods. We are excited for what he will bring to our leadership team and our future growth.” Roach joined Ideal as a development specialist in 2005, and in 2007 was promoted to director of development. He has been vice president of development since 2012.
Roach is aboard member of the Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma (BASCO), the B AS CO Government Affairs and Builders Council, and the Norman Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a master' s degree from Oklahoma Christian University.
Ideal also added Erin Yarbrough as director of marketing. She previously was in marketing and communicati ons for OU for 13 years.
About the addition to the company name, Shoemaker said:
“I deal Homes and Neighborhoods has long been focused on creating not just beautiful, high-quality homes, but also communities that connect our homeowners in more than 21 neighborhoods in the Oklahoma City and Stillwater areas. We view our neighborhoods as an extension of our homes, and we felt it was important to reflect that in our name. We are at the beginning stages of implementing new branding to highlight our commitment to modern and efficient homes, as well as incorporating neighborhoods in our branding efforts.”
