Oklahoma doesn't need privatized Medicaid

-

Regarding “Plan to privatize Medicaid faces opposition” (News, Oct. 12): If Medicaid is privatized, we won't be able to get coverage on some medical procedures needed because that would take profits away from the privatized Medicaid company. A perfect example is the Epic Charter Schools, which allegedly overcharged taxpayers millions of dollars. The first thing Gov. Kevin Stitt did when he took office was to appoint a CEO over Oklahoma. Isn't he supposed to be the CEO of Oklahoma? Next he wanted to put an office in Washington, D.C., to be sure Oklahoma was represented. Isn't that why we have two elected senators in the U.S. Senate? What other scam does Stitt have up his sleeves to line his and his cronies' pockets with taxpayer dollars?

We Okies are not stupid. We do not need another politician getting rich off our money.
