3-2-1 KICK OFF

- Ryan Aber, Staff writer

Here's a look at some of the key players and questions ahead of OU's meeting with TCU at 11 a.m. Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium:

3 players to watch

Marvin Mims: He has been one of the top freshmen receivers in the country so far, with 15 catches for 196 yards and four touchdowns and a 16.8-yard punt return average. But only two of those catches, for 12 yards, have come after halftime and none have come in the fourth quarter.

Woodi Washington: The redshirt freshman cornerback's playing time has increased recently, and he came up with a big interception in the fourth quarter against Texas. Washington's playing time figures to continue to increase if he keeps improving.

Perrion Winfrey: The top junior college defensive tackle in last year's class, Winfrey has steadily been more disruptive as the season has progressed. If the Sooners are able to get consistent pressure on Horned Frogs quarterback Max Duggan, that figures to go a long way toward pulling off the victory and if they're able to do that, Winfrey figures to be a big part.

2 big questions

Can the Sooners win the fourth

quarter? The fourth has been a big issue for OU through the first four games. The Sooners are being outscored 45-10 in the fourth quarter during Big 12 play. OU has struggled on both sides of the ball at the end of regulation. With a string of close games, the Sooners need to figure out their late-game woes and correct them quickly. How much will Chris Murray play? The Sooners' offensive line was much better against Texas than they had been early in the season. Part of the issues early in the season came from the interior — guards Marquis Hayes and Tyrese Robinson. Murray figures to step right into the rotation after being declared eligible by the NCAA before the Texas game. He's started two games against the Sooners for UCLA but will likely see his first action for OU against TCU on Saturday.

1 wild prediction

Austin Stogner catches two

touchdown passes. Stogner has been the Sooners' leading receiver this season, a reliable target for redshirt freshman quarterback Spencer Rattler. Stogner has had four receptions that gave the Sooners first-andgoal this season, but it wasn't until the first overtime against Texas that Stogner had found the end zone during his sophomore season. That changes against the Horned Frogs, as Stogner has his second twotouchdown game after scoring twice last year against Baylor.
