Trail of beers scheduled
EDMOND — The fifth annual OK Ale Trail will lead participants on a 3-mile fun run/walk at 11 a.m. Saturday in downtown Edmond.
Registration will include three craft beers from local breweries, including Coop Ale Works, Frenzy Brewing a nd Roughtail Brewing, as well as live music, food, a 2020 souvenir Ale Trail beer glass, and fun with family and friends.
Participants will begin their trek at The Railyard, 23 W First St., loop through downtown Edmond and run through The Railyard where the beers are served. Runners may choose to participate in the“Ale Trail Challenge,” which requires running a lap and drinking a beer (three laps, three beers), or runners and walkers are welcome to enjoy the three complimentary beers at their leisure.
Prizes and awards will be
presented to the top three male and female “Ale Trail Challenge” finishers.
Additionally, the 2020 OK Ale Trail will kick off with optional Beer Yoga at 10 a.m. provided by Oklahoma Yogi Scott Bartel. An after party will be sponsored by Regent
Bank and include a Beer Chug contest and live music on the outdoor stage sponsored by T-Mobile.

All ages are welcome to
participate in the race, but beer run participants must be 21 and older with a valid ID.
Walk-up registration also will be available at The Railyard on race day.
Proceeds will benefit the Edmond Fine Arts Institute.
