MEET THE OKLAHOMA N' S 2020 BIG ALL-CITY SOFTBALL TEAM

Editor's note: This year's OKC Metro High School Sports Awards will feature only an overall All-City team for each sport in June's broadcast for the USA Today Sports Network. Those athletes will be the only ones honored on the show and eligible for the athlete gift boxes. However, The Oklahoman will still select Big and Little All-City teams to honor their efforts.

Terin Ritz, Deer Creek

Position: Pitcher

Class: Senior

The story: Ritz was an allaround player. She had a 1.21 ERA and 194 strikeouts in 149.2 innings pitched. She had 13 home runs, 34 RBIs and a .421 batting average. She signed with Central Oklahoma.

Abbey Rogers, Carl Albert

Position: Catcher

Class: Senior

The story: Rogers played a vital role in leading the Titans to a Class 5A state title game. She was named District 5A-1 Player of the Year. Signed with Rogers State.

Brinly Maples, Southmoore

Position: Infield

Class: Junior

The story: Maples helped Southmoore win the Class 6A state championsh­ip. She had a 0.98 ERA with 125 strikeouts in 135.2 innings pitched. She finished with an 18-0 record.

Analise Rayburn, Yukon

Position: Infield Class: Junior

The story: Rayburn hit 17 home runs to go along with 51 RBIs and a .495 batting average.

Emersen Heron, Edmond Memorial

Position: Infield

Class: Senior

The story: A Maryville (Mo.) signee. Heron had a .509 batting average and 51 RBIs. She also

struck out 117 batters in 96 innings pitched.

Claira Skaggs, Westmoore

Position: Infield

Class: Senior

The story: Skaggs was COAC Defensive Player of the Year after a stellar season. She had a .539 batting average.

Ieesha Christian, Westmoore

Position: Outfield

Class: Senior

The story: A Morehead State signee, Christian used outstandin­g speed to give defenses problems. She scored 55 runs and sported a .509 batting average.

Grace Batdorf, Putnam City

Position:

Outfield

Class: Senior

The story: The South Dakota signee had a .509 batting average. She was named to the All-District team all four years.

Aerin Talley, Carl Albert

Position: Outfield

Class: Senior

The story: As an all-around player, Talley helped the Titans to a Class 5A state title game. She signed with Southern Illinois-Edwardsvil­le.

Tatum Sparks, Shawnee

Position: Utility

Class: Senior

The story: The Oklahoma State signee, Sparks helped Shawnee make the state tournament. She had a .538 batting average, 14 home runs and 14 doubles.
