Harding Prep plans Prospective Parent Night

Harding Charter Preparatory High School will host a Prospective Parent Night at 7 p.m. Thursday at the school, 1301 NE 101.

The evening will focus on potential students for the 2021-22 school year and provide an overview of the school, its curriculum and faculty.

Those attending will meet in the school's auditorium with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for social distancing being enforced, along with a mask requirement. A virtual event also will be offered on Facebook that evening.

Applications for the 2021-22 school year are being accepted.

High School next school year may pick up the application from the school's main office or download it at www. hardingcharterprep.org.

All applications are due by 4:30 p.m. March 5, although they may be turned in beforehand. Due to class size limits, a lottery will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 8.

Submarine veterans to meet

The Oklahoma City Submarine Veterans group will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the American Legion, 5000 SE 24 in Del City.

This meeting is being held in a new location, and all submarine veterans are welcome to attend.

Feedback sought for memorial

EDMOND — Edmond residents are being asked to complete a survey, providing comments and suggestions for the creation of the Edmond Veterans Memorial.

The city of Edmond and the Veterans Memorial Advisory Committee are working with a firm to design the memorial and wanting the public's input on the project.

Survey feedback will be considered in the design of the memorial, which will be in Bickham-Rudkin Park.

The survey will be open through Feb. 21 at https:// www.surveymonkey. com/r/veteranmemorial.
