Ronny Lynn Wright

YUKON - Ronny Lynn Wright, age 70, of Yukon, OK, passed away Feb. 19, 2021. Born in Okla. City on Aug. 31, 1950, he grew up in Del City and graduated from Del City High School. During his teen years, he worked in the meat market at Humpty’s. In the early 70’s he began his 12 year career as an Okla. City Fireman. While laying asphalt at a local McDonald’s, he met the love his life as she was working as an employee. Shortly after they got married and he followed in his father-in-law’s footsteps and became an Owner Operator of his very own McDonald’s for 27 years. His McDonald’s career started in Woodward, OK in 1980. In 1991 he became an active member of the Yukon Community. As an Owner Operator, his first restaurant was in South OKC in 1991. He became Owner Operator of the two Yukon locations in 1999. Retiring in 2018, he was living the best life. Ronny was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, boss, mentor and friend. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Vernon Wright and Mary Schacher; and grandson, Kallan Smith. He is survived by wife, Brenda; daughter, Ronda; sons, Jarrid (Kristi) and Brad; grandkids, Eryn, Avery, Anna and Wesley all of Yukon; brother, David; sister, Elouise; among many other beloved family members and friends. Viewing will be held 4 pm - 7 pm, Tues., Feb. 23, 2021, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wed., Feb. 24, at Life. Church, 1052 E.
