OKLAHOMA CITY - Joseph Nicholas Haddad, 71, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed peacefully at home on February 20, 2021. Born August 6, 1949 in Jounieh, Lebanon to Nicholas and Laurice Haddad. A very hard worker and faithful employee of the city of Oklahoma City, “Joe” drove municipal buses for 33 years. He was a dedicated father, and beloved grandfathe­r who’s favorite time was spent around his children and grandchild­ren. Between McDonald’s breakfasts and deal hunting at local grocery stores, Joe grew a beautiful garden and lawn. Joe took pride in cooking and entertaini­ng as no one ever came over that wasn’t offered one of his specialtie­s. He was very gentle and kind spirit, and always found ways to help his friends and children with automobile­s, finding appliances, or having a endless supply of toilet paper and mattresses. He is survived by wife Celia, son Joseph and wife Bobbie, Michael and wife Andi, and daughter Lauren and husband Matt, and 5 beautiful grandchild­ren Saied, Kira, George, August and Natali. As well as sisters Souhila, Helen, Afaf, and brothers Michael and William, their spouses and beloved neices and nephews. The Funeral will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at St Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 15000 North May Ave, OKC, OK followed by internment at Fairlawn Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers to the Flowers Do Not Wither fund c/o St Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.
