MOORE - Haskell Boyd was born April 17, 1931, in Cowden, OK, and departed May 4, 2021 at his home in Moore. His family lived on a farm seven miles north of Mtn. View, Ok. When he was a little over two years old, he was shot accidentally by another child while playing with a gun. The bullet lodged near his liver, where it remained the rest of his life. This was one of the first things he needed to tell you after meeting. He definitely enjoyed meeting new people and engaging in conversation. He married Jean Teal in 1949 and this began their family. This little family moved to Moore in 1952 and the following year moved into the house on NW 2nd Street. He worked in the oilfield, then at Western Electric, but decided in 1959 to return to farming which he did intermittently for many years. He is preceded in death by his father Albert Hall Boyd; mother Lala Phillips Boyd; brothers Gena Boyd and Harold Boyd; and grandson Daryn Hill. He is survived by his wife Jean; daughters Linda and husband Daryl Hill; Lavon and husband Tony Alizadeh; son, Alan and wife Beverly Boyd; grandchildren Lori Veach, Shala Cooley, Ryan Alizadeh and Chris Marit; great Grandchildren Sydnee Hibbs, McKynlee Gunter, Ryan Bundy, Rayden Marit and Koby Cooley.
