Red Sox 4, ORIOLES 3: Rafael Devers and Hunter Renfroe homered, Nick Pivetta won his third consecutiv­e start and the Boston Red Sox defeated the Baltimore Orioles 4-3 Sunday.

YANKEES 3, Nationals 2: Giancarlo Stanton hit a game-ending single off Brad Hand in the ninth inning, and the New York Yankees beat Washington 3-2 Sunday for their second straight walk-off win over the Nationals.

METS 4, D-backs 2: Mets ace Jacob deGrom was pulled after five innings with right side tightness in his return from a similar injury, but the bullpen closed out a four-hitter as New York beat the Diamondbac­ks 4-2 Sunday for its fifth straight win.

Brewers 2, MARLINS 1 (10): Tyrone Taylor hit a two-out, tiebreakin­g single in the 10th inning, and seven Brewers pitchers combined on a six-hitter to beat the Marlins 2-1 Sunday.

White Sox 9, ROYALS 3: Yermin Mercedes and Jose Abreu had three RBIs each to help the White Sox beat Kansas City 9-3 on Sunday, finishing off a three-game sweep and handing the Royals their eight consecutiv­e loss.

ASTROS 7, Blue Jays 4: Kyle Tucker hit a three-run homer and tied a career high with four RBIs as the Astros built a big lead early and held on for a 7-4 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

CARDINALS 2, Rockies 0: Nolan Arenado homered against his former team, Adam Wainwright pitched threehit ball into the ninth inning and the Cardinals beat the Rockies 2-0 Sunday.

Pirates 6, CUBS 5: Tyler Anderson pitched eight solid innings and the Pirates held on in the ninth, beating the Cubs 6-5 Sunday and ending Chicago’s five-game winning streak. Wilmer Difo had three hits and drove in three runs as the Pirates won for just the third time in their last 20 games at Wrigley Field.

RANGERS 10, Mariners 2: Adolis García hit his team-leading ninth homer and drove in a career-high five runs, Dane Dunning struck out 10 in five innings and the Texas Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners 10-2 on Sunday.

Padres 11, GIANTS 1: Jake Cronenwort­h hit a splash shot, Fernando Tatis Jr. also connected off Johnny Cueto and the Padres roughed up the Giants 11-1 Sunday. Padres starter Chris Paddack pitched three scoreless innings and left with a 5-0 lead.

ANGELS 2, Dodgers 1: Jared Walsh hit a two-run double in the third inning and the Los Angeles Angels held on for a 2-1 victory Sunday over the slumping Los Angeles Dodgers.

Rays 4, ATHLETICS 3: Willy Adames hit a three-run homer in the fifth, Mike Brosseau added a tiebreakin­g drive the following inning and the Rays held off the Oakland Athletics 4-3 on Sunday to avoid a series sweep.

Phillies at BRAVES, late: Ehire Adrianza capped a night full of comebacks for Atlanta with a game-ending RBI single in the 12th inning, helping the Braves stun the Philadelph­ia Phillies for a chaotic 8-7 victory Saturday.

Reds at CLEVELAND, ppd.: The threegame series finale between Cincinnati and Cleveland set for Sunday was postponed by rain and re-scheduled for Aug. 9.

Twins at TIGERS, ppd.: The series finale between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers scheduled for Sunday at Comerica Park was postponed because of rain.
