Reds 5, BREWERS 1: Jonathan India hit a three-run homer, Nick Castellano­s also went deep and the Reds beat the Brewers to avoid a three-game sweep. Sonny Gray allowed three hits in six scoreless innings.

White Sox 10, BLUE JAYS 7: Luis Robert hit a two-run home run, and Carlos Rodón won in his return from the injured list. José Abreu, César Hernández and Eloy Jiménez each hit solo shots.

Cardinals at PIRATES, late: Paul Goldschmid­t homered twice and scored the game-ending run on Lars Nootbaar’s single in the 10th inning as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Detroit Tigers 3-2 on Wednesday.

Diamondbac­ks at PHILLIES, late: Carson Kelly and Pavin Smith hit solo home runs as the Arizona Diamondbac­ks came back against the Pirates’ bullpen for a 5-2 victory Wednesday.

Giants at METS, late: Jake McGee induced a game-ending popup from Pete Alonso with the bases loaded, and the San Francisco Giants turned five double plays to beat the freefallin­g New York Mets 3-2 Wednesday night.

Rangers at CLEVELAND, late: Franmil Reyes drove a 451-foot home run into the left field bleachers – one of four solo homers hit by Cleveland – and Cleveland beat the Texas Rangers 7-2 on Wednesday night.

Twins at RED SOX, late: Josh Donaldson hit a two-run homer to lead off the 10th after Boston rallied from a four-run deficit to send the game into extra innings, and the Minnesota Twins beat the Red Sox 9-6 on Wednesday.

Nationals at MARLINS, late: Jorge Alfaro hit a game-winning single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning and Miami snapped an eight-game losing streak by beating Washington 4-3 on Wednesday night.

Dodgers at PADRES, late: AJ Pollock led off the 16th inning with a two-run homer and the streaking Los Angeles Dodgers beat the struggling San Diego Padres 5-3 early Thursday in a marathon game.

Yankees at ATHLETICS, late: Wandy Peralta retired Freddie Freeman with the bases loaded for the final out, and the New York Yankees held off the Atlanta Braves 5-4 in a thriller Tuesday.

Royals at MARINERS, late: Luis Torrens hit a tiebreakin­g two-run single, Chris Flexen pitched neatly into the seventh inning and the Seattle Mariners swept a quick two-game series against the Oakland Athletics with a 5-1 win Tuesday.
