Voting is open for the next oklahoman.com high school athlete of the week ballot for April 11-17.

The deadline is noon Friday. Athlete of the week voting occurs each week during all high school sports seasons and recognizes athletes across all sports.

Here are the nominees for April 11-17:

Baseball

Dacus Cooper, Sr., El Reno: The third baseman was 7-of-14 last week with two home runs and two doubles with six runs batted in and nine runs scored.

Jarrett Flaggert, Sr., Choctaw: Flaggert tallied 10 hits in 20 at-bats (.500) last week, with four home runs and seven RBI. He also scored seven runs.

Grayson Roberson, So., Bridge Creek: Roberson was 9-of-18 at the plate. During his surge, he tallied eight RBI with three doubles and a triple.

Boys golf

Ryder Cowan, Jr., Oklahoma Christian School: Cowan had a great week, winning the Kingfisher Tournament by four strokes before finishing runner-up at Lincoln West in a thrilling finish.

Jake Hopper, Sr., Norman North: Hopper finished in a fourth-place tie at the Trails in Norman on Monday before winning Thursday at Lincoln West.

Kyle McLaughlin, Jr., Heritage Hall: McLaughlin recorded a pair of top-10 finishes last week, including a sixth-place tie at the Trails in Norman on Monday and a solo second at Kingfisher on Wednesday.

Girls golf

Peyton Black, So., Carl Albert: Black finished third in the 5A regional preview at Lake Hefner North, shooting an 82 and helping Carl Albert finish first overall. Alex Peters, Sr., Oklahoma Christian School: Peters shot an 81 and finished second at the Plainview Tournament in Ardmore and then finished seventh and helped OCS win the team title at Sapulpa.

Boys soccer

Tyner Ferguson, Sr., Deer Creek: Ferguson had a big week helping the Antlers secure two wins. He scored two goals and had two assists against Putnam West and then had a goal and two assists against Lawton.

Jackson Ledlow, Sr., Crossings Christian: Ledlow was huge in net during two district wins. He tallied two clean sheets and 17 saves during two games and is up to nine shutouts this year.

Colton Morse, Sr., Newcastle: Morse helped the Racers win two matches last week. He scored two goals in overtime and in penalties to help Newcastle beat Ada and give coach Tom Pecore his 300th win.

Girls soccer

Ady Bechtel, So., Edmond North: Bechtel scored a goal against Stillwater on Tuesday and played a pivotal role in a 1-0 win at Jenks on Friday.

Sabrina Guzman, Jr., McGuinness: She tallied a goal and assist in a 2-0 win against Piedmont and then had a hat trick and three assists in a victory against Guthrie.

Becca Tweedy, Sr., Norman North: She tallied three goals and four assists last week, helping the Timberwolv­es outscore their opponents 24-1.

Slowpitch softball

Elly Allison, Jr., Washington: The junior has been nearly unstoppabl­e from the plate. She had an .857 batting average with four home runs and 12 RBI.

Lexi Young, Sr., Newcastle: Young batted 8-for-13 with three home runs and 10 RBI last week. She also drew three walks and tallied five runs.

Boys tennis

Spencer Keeter, Sr., Mustang: He placed fourth in No. 1 singles against a loaded field at the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday.

Logan Lemley, Jr., Edmond Memorial: He claimed the No. 2 singles title at the COAC Tournament.

Girls tennis

Reece Compton, Jr., Christian Heritage: She captured the No. 1 singles title at the Guthrie Tournament on Wednesday. Alice Hsu, So., Edmond North: The defending Class 6A No. 1 singles runner-up won the COAC championsh­ip Saturday.

Boys track

Maddox Motley, So., North Rock Creek: He’s having a strong year and won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.62 seconds at Chisholm’s invitation­al Friday. North Rock Creek finished with 129 points, one ahead of Chisholm, for the team victory.

Michael Pearne, Jr., Shawnee: He won the 3,200 in 10:20.32 and placed third in the 800 (2:06.91) at the Darold Ritchie Invitation­al in Bristow on Friday.

Heston Thompson, So., Stillwater: He won the 200 with times of 22.43 and 22.61 in Ponca City and Norman, respective­ly. Stillwater won both meets.

Girls track

McKenna Huston, Jr., Choctaw: She had a great week, helping Choctaw claim victories at two meets. Huston’s sole individual event was the 400, and she won the race with times of 58.52 and 59.87 in Yukon and Norman, respective­ly.

Camryn Kirkland, Sr., Edmond North: She helped the Huskies set the state record Friday at Broken Arrow in the distance medley relay, which includes legs of 1,200, 400, 800 and 1,600 meters. They finished in 12:34.77. Along with that, Kirkland placed second in the 1,600 (5:42.60).

Savannah Nunley, Sr., Luther: She cleared 4-feet, 10-inches to win the high jump and placed second in the 200 (27.24) at Okemah’s meet Friday.
