YUKON - Mary Louise (Gamsjager) McMahon, 88, was born Mar. 18, 1934 in Winfield, KS, to Charles and Clara ( Barrett) Gamsjager. She passed away Apr. 12, 2022 in Okla. City. Mary graduated from Newkirk High School in Newkirk, OK, in 1952, where she was a member of the band and orchestra. Mary worked at the Dept. of the Interior and the FAA and was a million-dollar seller as a realtor in Okla. City, for many years. She was an accomplish­ed musician, avid reader, and an amazing cook. She married Donald Ray McMahon (also of Newkirk, OK) on June 20, 1952, in Honolulu, HI, where Donald was stationed during the Korean War. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd in Yukon, OK, where she sang in the choir for many years. Along with music and reading, she enjoyed many years of bicycle riding and travels in the RV. Mary is survived by her brother, David Gamsjager; one sister, Nancy Oehrle; daughter, Sharon Douglas and son-in-law, J.L. Douglas; daughter-in-law, Sherri McMahon; grandchild­ren: Michael and Patrick McMahon, Ian, Rebekah and Sara Douglas, and Rachel Keller and six great-grandchild­ren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald McMahon; son, Shawn McMahon; sister, Margaret Olsen and brothers, John and Charles Gamsjager. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Fri., Apr. 22, 2022, at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 10928 SW 15th St., Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd.
