EDMOND - Brandon Spencer Dale passed away unexpected­ly on April 21 at Integris Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 32. Brandon was born in 1990 in Oklahoma City and grew up in Edmond. He graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2008, where his passions were playing soccer and bass guitar. He was also active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout rank in January 2008.

Brandon attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and was currently studying profession­al media at the University of Central Oklahoma. He served as the sports editor for The Vista at UCO.

Brandon was an avid OKC Thunder fan and loved sharing his passion with others. He was a contributi­ng writer for Fansided’s Thunder outlet, Thunderous Intentions, as well as an active podcaster. He found a community of friends and fellow fans on Twitter who shared his obsession.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Doug and Patti Dale of Edmond; his girlfriend Meg Sine of Oklahoma City; and loving dog Coco; Aunt Colleen (husband David) Dill, Yukon; Aunt Callie Nitzel, El Reno; Aunt Krista Castle, Oklahoma City; Uncle Bruce Dale, Blackwell, OK; Uncle Fred (wife Judy) Dale, Plano, TX; Aunt Vicki (husband Ron), Broken Arrow; and Uncle Greg (wife Jacque) Dale, Mayfield, KY, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, John and Wilma Dale of Blackwell, OK, and Jean and Betty Jo Pazoureck of El Reno.

From 4–8 PM on Wednesday, April 27, a come-and-go visitation will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S Broadway St, Edmond, OK.

Services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Westminste­r Presbyteri­an Church, 4400 N Shartel, Oklahoma City, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N Kelley, Oklahoma City. A reception will be held in the Historic Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery following the interment.
