Norma McGee Jones

Norma McGee Jones, 87, was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on April 18, 1935. Norma had two sisters, Janice who died at the age of 6 months, and Carlene. Her parents, Carl and Naomi and husband, Dale Jones preceded her in death.

Norma attended Whitebead School through the eighth grade while living on the family farm. She was active in 4H Club, winning numerous awards. Norma attended Pauls Valley Public Schools from 9th grade through 12th grade finishing 3rd in her graduating class. She was active in Pep club, chorus and 4H club.

From 1953-1957, Norma attended Oklahoma A&M, graduating with a BS in foods, nutrition and institutional administration.

On June 8, 1957 she married Dale Jones at Paul and Pine Church of Christ in Pauls Valley. She completed her internship at OU Medical Center in OKC in 1958 then worked as a dietician there for 1 year. Norma worked for a dietician for 5 years in Michigan, Ohio and Oklahoma.

Norma and Dale had 2 sons, Jeff and Kevin, 4 grandchildren, Brock, Aubrey and husband, Trey, Jared and Haley.

From 1962 until her death her home was in the Oklahoma City area. She was a faithful member of Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City since 1962. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2022 from 5-7pm at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City officiated by Pastor Dale Hartman. Interment will be at Mt.
