The results are in for The Oklahoman’s athlete of the week polls for Sept. 25Oct. 1.

The winners are Norman North football player Carson Samson, Choctaw cross country runner Kristen Kirk, Edmond Memorial cross country runner Josh Cherry and Southeast volleyball player Kimberly Alvarez.

Voting will open Saturday for the football player of the week poll, and it will close at noon Friday. This was the final week for the regular-season volleyball and cross-country ballots.
