YUKON - Steven L. Williams, 76, of Yukon, OK, died Feb. 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Stillwater, OK, on June 11, 1946, the son of the late Cecil E. Williams and Anna Mae Williams. On May 20, 1972, he married Kathy (Hudson) Williams. Steve enjoyed motorcycle racing, sky diving, scuba diving, and studying history and languages. He and his wife enjoyed internatio­nal travel which included annual trips to Zihuatanej­o, MX. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mark E. Williams, and sister-in-law Karen Hudson Page. He is survived by wife, Kathy, two sisters, Pamela Bauer (Patrick) and Cynthia Tackwell (Steven), numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Steve graduated from Ponca City High School in 1964 and from Oklahoma State University in 1972 with degrees in Aeronautic­al and Mechanical Engineerin­g. He held various engineerin­g positions, he was VP and General Manager of Ted Davis Yamaha, and he was a Manufactur­ing Engineer for Balon Corporatio­n from which he retired after 30 years in 2010. Steve was an Eagle Scout Order of the Arrow; member of Society of Manufactur­ing Engineers; and served in the Army Reserves. A visitation and video presentati­on for Steve will be held on Thurs., Mar. 2 at 10 a.m. to noon at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel located at 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, OK. A public Graveside Service officiated by Tracy Wilson will begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by Military Honors at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 4302 N Hwy 81, Duncan, OK.
