Sally Marie Teuscher

EDMOND - Sally Marie Teuscher passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023 in the same city in which she was born, Edmond, Oklahoma. On May 27, 1951, Sally entered this world in the old Edmond hospital off Broadway. The city was never the same nor were the lives of those who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Martin Renn Teuscher, grandsons Bennett Blue and Axle Jag Teuscher, Mother of her grandchildren Stephanie Teuscher, honorary daughter Jennifer Fields, honorary grandchildren Alexandra Fields and Logan Fields, sister Peggy Jo Ivey (Douglas), nephews, Jed Timmons (Shana), Josh Timmons (Susan) and Douglas Ivey (Sabrina). along with her Silver Stone Homes family. She was preceded in death by her parents Charley and Eula “Toodie” Teuscher and her grandmother Ethel Tuton. Sally lived life to its fullest. Her accomplishments included earning a Masters degree from Central State University (now known as the University of Central Oklahoma) and completing a 29 year career in Government service as an auditor for the IRS. However her greatest accomplishment was her son Martin. During the last two decades of her life she worked in the office of Silver Stone Homes, a company that her son created, of which she was an integral part. She helped to create the family atmosphere that exists today. Then came the sweetest part of life, becoming a Grandmother, affectionally known as Nana. Sally’s face would light up brighter than her jewelry when she spent time with Bennett and Axle (and that is saying a lot)! Contagious laughter was often heard in the Silver Stone Homes office when she and Bennett would spend generous time together. Her long lasting relationships are evidence of the type of friend she was. She has many friends from childhood, the IRS and beyond. She loved traveling with Vicki, lunches with Pat and Gary and bunco with the neighborhood girls. Sally loved BIG and you knew how much she loved you by a kiss on the lips and possibly a tap on the behind. Our lives are brighter and more colorful for knowing her. A come-and-go visitation for Sally will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034. The family will be greeting friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A funeral celebration service will occur Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant Bryant Square, 1718 E 2nd St, Edmond, OK 73034, following the funeral to continue celebrating Sally’s life at favorite restaurant. Family will be having a private burial.
