Out-of-state trio accused in Oklahoma City bank robbery

Two men and a woman, all three from outside of Oklahoma, have been charged in federal court over a February bank robbery in Oklahoma City.

David John-Matthew Davis, 38, and Paris Kathryn Mace, 29, both of Omaha, Nebraska, along with Christian Deleon Lane, 36 of Dallas, are accused of robbing a MidFirst Bank located at 5800 N Western Ave.

Prosecutor­s allege that on the morning of Feb. 23, Davis entered the bank, jumped over the main counter, grabbed a teller and pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the tellers and gave orders for the bank vault to be opened.

Davis left the bank with an unspecified amount of money and jumped into a getaway car driven by Mace, prosecutor­s allege.

Lane is accused of assisting with arranging the robbery.

Four days later, on Feb. 27, law enforcemen­t arrested Davis in Omaha.

A day after that arrest, authoritie­s arrested Mace in Omaha and Lane in Dallas. On March 2, Davis and Mace appeared for their initial appearance­s in federal court in Nebraska, authoritie­s said. Both were ordered detained pending further proceeding­s.

On March 10, Lane appeared for his initial appearance in the Western District of Oklahoma and was ordered to be detained pending further proceeding­s.

If found guilty of armed bank robbery and aiding and abetting, each defendant faces up to 25 years in prison, five years of supervised release, a fine of $250,000 and payment of mandatory restitutio­n.

If found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank robbery, each defendant faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, a fine of $250,000 and payment of mandatory restitutio­n.
