From Native American art, jewelry and ornaments to European-inspired goods and delicacies to an array of crafters and quilters, check out these seasonal specialty markets scattered across Oklahoma:

First Americans Museum Winter Holiday Art Market

When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2-3. Where: First Americans Museum, 659 American Indian Blvd., OKC.

The #WHAMatFAM returns for its third year with an expanded roster of more than 60 Native American artists selling paintings, ceramics, beadwork, textiles, baskets, jewelry, photograph­y and more.

The festivitie­s also will include story time, holiday performers, demonstrat­ions and a visit from Indigenous Santa.

A members’ only preview from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1 will feature light appetizers, a cash bar and exclusive advance shopping opportunit­ies.

Yukon Czech Christmas Market

The Old World-style outdoor market will feature a village of vendors, vintage Santa and truck, Christmas tree display, wassel, local wine tasting, Czech pastries and music, marshmallo­w roasting and hand-warming stations and commemorat­ive mugs while they last.

Merry Chicksmas Market, Edmond

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2. Where: 501 N Broadway, Edmond. Informatio­n: https://www.eventbrite.com.

The event will include booths from local women-owned businesses, a free hot cocoa bar, free cookies and crafts and the chance to win as much as $200

in door prizes.

Tulsa Christkind­lmarkt

When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 2 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.

Where: German-American Society of Tulsa Event Center, 2301 E 15.

Following the time-honored traditions of Germany’s Christmas markets, the midtown Tulsa event features more than 20 local vendors and artisans selling unique wares, imported goods and authentic German food, plus a children’s area and Bethlehem village display. A free outdoor tree lighting ceremony is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30.

Midtown Holiday Pop-Up Shops

When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 17.

Created in 2013 to promote shopping local, this year’s event will feature 18 shops each weekend in addition to Katiebug’s Hot Chocolate and the Big Friendly Beer Bus. Shops will rotate weekly. Plus, the Bishop John Carroll School’s tree lot will return starting Black Friday.

Sleigh Bells Market OKC

When: Noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 3. Where: OKC Farmers Market, 311 S Klein.

Vendors selling holiday, vintage and handmade items will be spread out over both floors of the venue.

Sleigh Bells Market McAlester

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9. Where: Southeast Expo Center, 4500 W U.S. 270, McAlester.

Making its debut at at the Southeast Expo Center, the market will showcase vintage Christmas goods, boutique items and gifts.

Scissortai­l Park’s ’ Tis the Season Market and Concert

When: 2 to 8 p.m. Dec. 2.

The full day of festivitie­s will include local businesses and artisans set up along The Promenade, food trucks on the Picnic Trellises, free Santa visits at the Play Pavilion, afternoon entertainm­ent more on the Love’s Travel Stops Stage featuring Montrae Tisdale & The Friends Chorale, OK City Chorus and more, capped by the nighttime Concert at the Colonnade at Union Station with the OKC Thunder Drummers and King Cabbage Brass Band.

Pambe Ghana’s Global Market

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. TuesdaysSa­turdays through Dec. 24.

Where: Sailor and the Dock marketplac­e, 617 W Sheridan, OKC.

For more than a decade, Pambe Ghana has brought hand-crafted fair-trade items to OKC. Elementary students at the La’Angum Learning Center in Ghana and internatio­nal artisans benefit from purchases made at the shop. The learning center was founded by Oklahoma City University graduate Alice Azumi Iddi-Gubbels.

A Very Vintage Holiday Market

When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2. Where: Sailor and the Dock marketplac­e, 617 W Sheridan Ave, OKC.

The indoor market will feature vendors selling clothing, decor and more.

Merry Marketplac­e, Edmond

When: 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8

Where: Mitch Park, 1501 W Covell, Edmond.

Vendors include Natalie Knits For You, Shelly’s Jellies and Jams, Sweet Stingers Honey & Apiary and Wildhorse Canyon Farms Winery. The market sets up in Mitch Park during Edmond Electric’s annual Luminance holiday lights display, making the season bright through Jan. 1.
