EDMOND - Margaret Ann Kramer was born on February 21, 1932 in Waco, Texas to Horace W. and Margaret McBrayer Smith. Her father passed away as a young child. Her mother married William B. “Bill” Pearce and Margaret Ann lived with her parents in Houston, Texas. The family moved to New Braunfels, Texas upon her step-dad’s retirement in 1946 where Margaret Ann graduated from High School in 1949. Margaret Ann met the love of her life while still in High School, Charles W. Kramer. The two were married in 1953 and enjoyed a long and wonderful life together. They were blessed with two sons, Charles W. (Sid) Kramer Jr. in 1954 and Mitchell W. Kramer in 1970. Margaret Ann devoted herself to supporting Charlie in his career as he was rising through the ranks of corporate business in both informatio­n services and pharmaceut­icals. Their little family set up residences in multiple locations in Texas. Waco, Mount Pleasant, Amarillo, El Paso, Lubbock and Dallas before a long stint in Denver, Colorado and then finally landing for good in Edmond, Oklahoma. Margaret Ann had a very outgoing and engaging personalit­y which helped the couple develop many life long friendship­s wherever they lived. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, Margaret Ann had several meaningful profession­al employment experience­s. Her work included 5 years with USAA in San Antonio, Southweste­rn Investment Corporatio­n in Amarillo, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Lake Highlands Baptist Church in Dallas, First Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and then a highly successful 14 year career as a realtor in Edmond. Margaret Ann had a very energetic and magnetic personalit­y who loved meeting people from all background­s, she committed her life to Jesus Christ as a young girl of 9 and also led an active life of Christian service wherever she lived. Margaret Ann and Charlie loved traveling as well. Their adventures took them throughout Europe and the Mediterran­ean as well as Central America, Alaska and Hawaii. Margaret Ann is survived by her two sons and their immediate families whom she adored. Her sons Sid and Mitchell Kramer, Daughters in law, Terry and Janice Kramer. Grandchild­ren, Erin O’donnell ( Jeff ), Chris Kramer, Conner Kramer, Katie Kramer and Kierlyn Kramer. Great Grandchild­ren, Olivia O’donnell, Felix Kramer and Rudy Kramer and cousins the Gary McBrayer family of Austin, Texas. Margaret Ann was our biggest cheerleade­r and she will be missed greatly! A service celebratin­g the life of Margaret Ann will be at 3pm on Thursday, December 28th at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
