Charlyn (Camuso) McCarthy, 79, of West Grove, Pa.

WESTGROVE, PA.>> Charlyn (Camuso) McCarthy, 79, of West Grove, Pa. passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at her home.

Born in Syracuse, Charlyn was an assistant director of financial aid for Delaware County Community College in Media, Pa. and retired with over 20 years of service. Her passions were her grandchildren, knitting projects for her family tree, her travels and sharing her faith with her family.

Charlyn is survived by her loving husband, James H. McCarthy, formerly of Rome, N.Y.; her children, Kevin (Angela) McCarthy, Christo- pher (Heather) McCarthy, Maria (Richard) Foss, Colleen (Walter) Fries and Lynn (Michael) Welch; her brother, James C. Camuso of Arizona; her sister, Mary (Camuso) Wood of Texas. She enjoyed her seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and expecting a fourth.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home (corner of Court Street and Park Street). Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour for close friends and family will be on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home before the services, 1500 Park St. (corner of Court Street and Park Street).
