CANASTOTA>> Marylou Brown, 62, of Scenic Avenue, passed away on Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2015, in the Rome Center for Rehabilita­tion and Healthcare, where she had been a resident for the past month and a half.

Born in Oneida on April 27, 1953, she was a daughter of Ira J. and Evelyn N. Ballou Warren. A lifelong resident of the area, Marylou was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 1972. She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Tom Raushau of Liverpool; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Donald Brown of Canastota, Michael and Allyson Brown of Monroe, N.J. and Matthew Brown of Cary, N.C.; three special grandchild­ren, Taylor Brown, Jordyn Brown and Jake Brown; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lowana and Richard Davenport of Brooktonda­le, Judy and Dale Huyck of Saranac Lake and Joanne and Skip Friend of Sherrill; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Sherry Warren of Blossvale and Tom and Sharon Warren of Utica; several nieces, nephews and caring friends. She was predecease­d by a brother, Ira W. Warren Jr. and a sister, Sally Myers. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to The Grand, Rome Center for Rehabilita­tion and Healthcare, South Wing nurses, who were wonderful and took great care of Marylou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from St. Joseph’s Church, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Richard Kapral, pastor. Friends may call at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc. 260 Main St., Oneida, on Friday, following the funeral services, from 3-6 p.m. Interment will be made at the convenienc­e of the family in Glenwood Cemetery.
