CHITTENANG­O 6, EAST SYRACUSE-MINOA1 >> The Bears swept the singles points, led by a 6-1, 6-0 win by Aaron Norman in first singles. CANASTOTA 5, HAMILTON 3 >> The Raiders rallied for five runs over the final three innings for a comefrom-behind victory. Jacob Purdy earned the win on the mound for Canastota while Colin McGaugh went 3-for-4 with a run scored in defeat for Hamilton. CAZENOVIA 7, BISHOP LUDDEN6 >> The Lakers entered the bottom of the seventh trailing 6-3 before Judson Spaulding started a one- out rally with a single. He would eventually score on a wild pitch and a two-run single by Eric Ketcham brought home Matt Regan and Graham Demo to tie the game. An error advanced Ketcham to second before he stole third and then scored the game-winning run on a passed ball with Paul McLaughlin batting. MORRISVILL­E-EATON 4, OTSELIC VALLEY 0 >> Charlie Clark struck out 19 batters, throwing a one-hitter for M-E in its first win of the season.

7 >> The Raiders jumped out to a 4- 0 lead in the top of the first inning but the Emerald Knights rallied back for the win, led by Kelly Bassett who went 3-for- 4 at the plate with a double and three RBI. Julia Collins went 3-for- 4 with a home run and two runs scored for Canastota in defeat. VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 4, WHITESBORO­1>> Addy Szczerba pitched a one-hitter for the Red Devils, allowing just one unearned run while striking out 14 and walking three. The senior also helped her own cause at the plate, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

MORRISVILL­E-EATON4, CLINTON 1 >> Zachary FuentesLam­b and Dylan Stoddard posted three-set victories in first and third singles, respective­ly, for M-E. WHITESBORO­4, VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL3>> The Red Devils took three of the four singles points but Matt Benincasa won second singles for the visitors, who also swept the doubles matches.

RONA-SHERRILL 53 >> Chris Cable, Daizon Lewis and Logan Wendt each won two events for the Red Devils but it wasn’t enough to overcome Jason Richards and the Blue Devils. Richards placed first in the 110 high hurdles (17.8), pole vault (10-0) and triple jump (37-7). CANASTOTA 100, SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE 43; CANASTOTA 105, ORISKANY 35 >> Adam Van Valkenburg­h posted first-place finishes in the 1600 (5:34), 400 (56.8) and 800 (2:16) for the Raiders. NEW HARTFORD 107, ONEIDA 34 >> Oneida’s Drew Grems turned in a 3510.5 in the triple jump for his team’s lone firstplace finish in the meet. The win was the 800th for Spartans’ coach Tom Wells.

Girls Track and Field

CANASTOTA 92, ORISKANY 38; CANASTOTA 104, SHERBURNE- EARLVILLE 27 >> Audrey Mitchell placed first in the 800 (2:45.1) for the Raiders while also contributi­ng to the winning 4X800 (11:37.8) and 4X400 (5:01.5) relay teams. NEW HARTFORD 71, ONEIDA 70 >> Julianna Cavanagh won the 200 (27.9) and long jump (15-8) while also competing on the winning 4X100 (53.9) and 4X400 (4:30.6) teams for Oneida, but it wasn’t enough to top New Hartford.

Boys Golf

ONEIDA 225, PROCTOR 256; ROME FREE ACADEMY 204, ONEIDA 225 >> Marco Pasqualett­i led all golfers with a 38 for the Black Knights, who beat their lowest score of the season which was set the day before. Ben Kallet shot a 40 for Oneida at Old Erie, helping the team earn its second win by beating Proctor.

CAZENOVIA2­25, OSWEGO250 >> Erin Howles was the Lakers’ medalist, shooting a 51 at Cazenovia Country Club.
