CANASTOTA>> Dean A. Raymond, 88, of 6986 South Court Street, died Friday, July 29, 2016, in the Oneida Extended Care Facility. He was born June 27, 1928, in the Town of Lincoln, the son of Arthur Raymond and Ivah Ingalls. On Feb. 2, 1957, he was united in marriage to the late Rita Bordell. Mrs. Raymond died on Jan. 12, 2009.

Mr. Raymond had at- tended the New York State School for the Deaf. He was employed with Oneida Limited, retiring in 1989 after 25 years of service. He was a former member of the Oneida Moose Lodge.

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda and Spike Philo of Canastota and Sarah Eager of Wampsville. He was predecease­d by a brother Clyde in 2015, a sister Patti Chargo in 2003, and a great-granddaugh­ter Evangeline in 2016.

In memory of Great Papa, he is survived by 5 grandchild­ren: Heather, Doug, Cody, Dean and Connie; and 10 greatgrand­children. Also surviving are his loved Bingo friends.

He was a Life member of the Lincoln Fire Depart- ment.

A graveside service will be held on Aug. 20, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Verona Cemetery. There will be no hours of public visitation.
