Activities scheduled for October

MORRISVILLE>> The following October events are scheduled at Morrisville Public Library:

• Pumpkin coloring contest entries are available Oct. 1 for children up to grade 6. Entries are due Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

• The Fall Book Sale takes place Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Books for all ages, DVDs, books on tape and CDs will be available.

• Kiddies Korner, the preschool story hour, is held Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

• WWII veteran Stan Davis will give a talk on his wartime experiences on Friday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

• Family Movie Night with “Ice Age 5: Collision Course” will be Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.

• The library will hold a Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

• A defensive driving course will be offered on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
