Annual College Night

Rome Free Academy’s guidance counselors will sponsor the Annual College Night on Oct. 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 95 Dart Circle on the Griffiss Business and Technology Park. Organizers expect 100 representatives from 2 year and 4 year schools, with various military branches also in attendance. There will be SUNY colleges, community colleges, and private universities represented.

College night is open to all high school students and their families, from Rome and the surrounding area.

There will also be a financial aid workshop being presented by a Mohawk Valley Community College Financial Aid representative. The federal government has changed the opening date for parents and students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to Oct. 1. This presentation will allow parents to ask questions and see how the process works.

There is no charge for attendance.
