Middle school assault

When kids bully to this point and hurt and injure others, their parents need to be held accountable to some degree and kids need severe punishments to end this. 40 years ago I was bullied to the point of being knocked unconscious outside on the playground by a bully. Sadly nothing happened and nothing changed and it affected me deeply going to school for years. I’m glad more people are paying attention these days, but nothing changes if someone’s not held accountable. It should never be minimized that it’s just kids being kids when severe physical injury is involved. Kids who hurt other kids on purpose need help, sure ,but it’s equally important to hold them accountable for their actions.

••• Heavy fines for the parents. Appearance court tickets and hold the parents accountable for their juvenile’s behavior.. it’ll be a step towards correcting the issue.. family community service 80 hours. Get mom, dad and the bully out cleaning garbage off the side of Route 5. You’ll see behaviors and attitudes changing.

••• Make the parents pay ALL the medical bill, now and in the future.

••• The mother on behalf of her son, needs to file a civil suit. The was clearly assaulted by three. All three need to be named in a civil suit.

••• How can this kid feel safe in school or outside of school? They said he was walking on the wrong side of the street! Never knew that he owns the sidewalk. Those kids need help now.

••• How do innocent children grow to be vicious, violent, and so so callous towards others with absolutely no feelings about the act of violence? Absolutely saddening

••• In cases like this names should be published so other kids can stay away from them.

Corruption scandal in Cuomo’s inner circle

Good thing “Andy” is a standup guy, cause he sure is surrounded by a multitude of corrupt politicians. He’s a beacon of hope in an utterly dark and polluted circle of assistants. Anybody want to buy a bridge?

••• It is just plain sickening the amount of corruption that goes on/has gone on in this state’s government, and now it has reached all the way up to the governor’s office. Hey fellow New Yorkers, isn’t it time We the People started CLEANING HOUSE in Albany? It is way past time to get rid of all the corrupt career politicians, and get back to government BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE! The choice is yours; many of the Albany “cartel” are up for reelection in November! Do your homework before making your decision if you are as sick of Albany politics as I am!

Ron Belcher a dog’s best friend in Sherrill

A great story regarding a “driven” man and his love for the canine species. Obviously, Mr. and Mrs. Belcher receive that love back from their dog buddies. Kudos to Mr. Belcher, Mrs. Belcher and Mike Jaquays. So nice to read a positive, uplifting article vs. a lot of the nonsense presented these days!
