Bridget Kelly is in her fourth day of testimony. She testified Tuesday that an email she sent saying “time for some traffic problems ” re f er red to a traf fic study and was not indicative of a political retaliatio­n plot.

Kelly and former bridge authority official Bill Baroni are charged with closing bridge access lanes and causing gridlock to punish a Democratic mayor who didn’t endorse Christie’s re-election.

The recipient of Kelly’s email, former bridge authority official David Wildstein, pleaded guilty and testified against Kelly and Baroni.

The defense’s case is expected to conclude with Kel ly on Wednesday, and jurors are expected to hear closing arguments Thursday and Friday.
