Scholarships available for high school seniors

GPO Federal Credit Union will award three scholarships worth $1,000, $500 and $300 to college-bound high school seniors.

Applicants will automatically be eligible for scholarships awarded through the Utica-Rome Chapter of Credit Unions and on a statewide level in amounts up to an additional $1,500. Applicants must be members in good-standing at GPO, and must be high school seniors attending a two or four-year accredited educational institution for the first time in the fall of 2017. Applications are available at all GPO branches. Deadline to apply is Dec. 15.
