Hendrix, Hart stand out in championship chase

Chittenango’s Hunter Hendrix played well on both sides of the ball in a playoff win for the football team while Cazenovia’s Meggie Hart took first at the OHSL Liberty cross country championships.

Chittenango senior Hunter Hendrix caught two thirdquarter touchdown passes for the football team in a comefrom-behind 44-30 victory over Central Valley Academy. The senior finished the Section III Class B quarterfinal win with three catches for 58yards while also leading the Bears defense with 15 tackles.
