CAMDEN >> Tracy C. Mackey, 60, of Camden, left this life peacefully on Feb. 21, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tracy was born on April 26, 1956 in White Salmon, Wash., to Gerald and Winifred Cleveland Mackey. He graduated from Oneida High School, Class of 1975. Hewas employed at Internatio­nal Wire as a strander operator for 28 years, retiring in 2016, due to illness. Tracy was united in marriage to his longtime love, Christelle Box, at their home in Camden on June 8, 2016. He embraced Christelle’s children and grandchild­ren as his own and leaves them with many treasured memories.

Tracy lived life to its fullest and was known by all for his irreverent sense of humor. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, kayaking, and camping with his many friends and family. Tracy was also devoted to his beloved canine companions, Chupey and Sophie.

Aside from his wife, Christelle, Tracy is survived by his children, Connie Mackey Harding, Jodi Mackey Marsala, and Brandon Palmer. He will be missed by his stepchildr­en, Susan (Tom) Gehrig, Jen- nifer (Shawn) Fox, and Andy (Tammy) Box along with his many grandchild­ren. He also leaves his sister, Erin, and a special uncle and aunt, Ron and Sandy Cleveland. In addition to his family, Tracy leaves many close friends, including Jim Shannon and Dan Marshall. Tracy was predecease­d by his beloved parents and furry friends Mia, Sam, and Mike.

The family would like to thank the Camden Volunteer Fire Department for their quick response and compassion as well as the staff of Upstate University Hospital for the care given to Tracy throughout his illness.

A Time of Sharing will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the LaRobardie­re Funeral Home, Inc. Family and friends are invited and may call on Saturday prior to the time of sharing from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main St., Camden.
