CANASTOTA >> Mae Belle Kenyon, 89, of Getmac Avenue, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Chittenango.

She was born Feb. 25, 1928 in Smyrna, a daughter of James and Alice Foster Cole and was a graduate of Sherburne High School. On June 3, 1955, Mae married Sanford Kenyon in Sherburne who predeceased her in 1989. Mae had worked at Micro- wave Filter Corp. in East Syracuse for over 20 years. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Mae is survived by her daughter and sonin-law, Lynne and James Cziesler of Chittenango; her grandchildren, Erik Flanders (Cassandra Chatraw) of Canandaigua, Kristen and Dave Gillis of Manlius, Ashley Flanders and her fiance, Chad Halsey of Chittenango, and Nicole Raymond of Blossvale; great-grandchildren, Logan, Ruby, Novahlee, Hunter, Sophia, Sam, Jack, Georgia and Savanna; sisterin-law, Linda Cole; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sons, Gary and Alan Kenyon; two brothers, Paul and Gordon Cole; and a sister, June Hendrickson.

Graveside services will be held in the Valley View Cemetery, South Otselic, at the convenience of the family.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
